Soliloquy

People all around me,

Their faces show restraint

Desire, rage, sorrow,

Love and hate

Behind every set of eyes,

Their own tempered thoughts

Provoke the instinct inside,

The instinct that we blot.

Cataclysmic inquiries in every conversation,

And we always seem to repress a direct translation

Worlds exist in vacant stares,

Worlds we never think to share

In arrogance, expressions flow,

It's mindfulness that no one shows

People all around me,

They don't know what to say

Their silent thoughts are deafening

As minds are led astray

The pain we leave unspoken,

Desensitize taboo,

We recognize the trembling,

yet leave it to dilute.

People all around me,

I wish I knew their names

We hope we think alike-

Not every thought the same

Naturally we act the part,

It's coded in our brains

Drop the filter, talk out your heart,

Don't be ashamed!

Worlds exist in vacant stares,

Worlds we never think to share

Don't be safe in what you know,

Don't let them break your ego

Cataclysmic inquiries in every conversation,

And we always seem to repress a direct translation

World's exist in vacant stares,

Worlds we never think to share.

The universal blank restrain,

your moment may not come again!
